Travel Mobility Scooters – take advantage of our 2 year warranty before it’s gone!

Here at Luggie Mobility Scooters, we’re proud of our extensive range of folding, lightweight, portable and travel mobility scooters. We have several insurance policies and warranties to take advantage of when it comes to the Luggie. However, this blog is to let you know about some changes to our standard warranty and why now is the perfect time to buy your new mobility scooter.

Travel Mobility Scooters

Until 10th May, you can still take advantage of our standard 2 year warranty which comes with our travel mobility scooters. After that, it is being lowered to a year. So there’s never been a better time to buy! Along with the warranty from Luggie, customers can choose to add a further 4 years if they so wish.

You are also able to purchase insurance from us for our travel mobility scooters. Advantages of our insurance include third party cover, world wide cover (45 travel days a year), theft and accidental damage. It is a common misconception that just because a mobility scooter isn’t a car, it doesn’t need insuring. This simply isn’t the case. Travel mobility scooters are used on the road just like other vehicles. Therefore, they must be insured in case they’re involved in a crash or cause accidental damage to another vehicle’s paintwork. Also similarly to driving a car, it is against the law to drink and drive your mobility scooter!

Warranty with Luggie Mobility Scooters

Our travel mobility scooters are insured with First Senior Insurance. They are a professional and established company who efficiently take care of all the necessary evils. A mobility scooter is classed as a ‘carriage.’ This is a law which dates back to the Victorian era and one which has never been changed or amended.

So if you’ve been thinking about a Luggie scooter for a while now but are still a little unsure, then why not give our friendly team a call today?
